Qualico Communities is proud to introduce its newest community, Bison Run. This name pays tribute to the strong historical significance of Manitoba’s wildlife and ties to the new neighbourhood’s surroundings. Located in Waverley West, this new development is bordered between Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Centre, South Pointe and is near the University of Manitoba campus.
Bison Run will offer a wide range of home styles and price points to suit every lifestyle and life stage. The community will offer both Custom and Premium home builders as well as multifamily townhomes, condominiums, and apartments.
The community will have easy access to an abundance of shops and services along Pembina Highway and nearby south Kenaston. Plus, the entire University of Manitoba Campus, IG Field and Athletic Centre and soccer fields are all nearby. With plans for commercial development within the community, residents will also have access to amenities and services close at hand.
Greenspaces will play an important role throughout Bison Run, offering residents outdoor places to gather and enjoy. Existing tree stands will be preserved where possible and naturalized wetlands and limestone trails will be incorporated throughout the community. Active transportation paths will be provided in all directions to adjacent neighbourhoods including Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Trails and South Pointe.
Qualico is proud to partner with well established, quality, and respected home builders in all our communities and Bison Run will be no exception. Phase 1 will feature both Custom and Premium home builders that homeowners can work with to build their dream home.
When released, lots in Bison Run will be purchased through one of our participating builders. Lots are not available for sale or pre-sale currently, but we anticipate a lot release by mid to late summer. In the meantime, interested homebuyers can sign-up for e-news here or view our participating builder group here.
We are excited to break ground in this highly anticipated community with servicing beginning this spring. Individuals interested in more information are encouraged to visit our website here
